Söderhamns Stuvrie & Hamn AB goes online with new internet presence

The new internet presence of the Söderhamns Stuveri & Hamn AB (SSHAB) has gone online. The website of the port operator and logistics company has a new, modern design with optimized page structure, customer-oriented navigation, and at the usual address at www.sshab.se. Users can select between Swedish, English, and German.
The internet relaunch is an important step for the new image of Söderhamns Stuveri & Hamn AB. After the SCHRAMM Ports & Logistics Sweden AB took over the majority shares in the Söderhamns Stuveri & Hamn AB on March 1, 2017, the marketing activities are being intensified for more presence in the national and international market. "We are happy about our new digital presence. The menus are modern and user-oriented and the individuality of the layout is convincing. We want to design the website the same we interact with our customers: down to earth and goal oriented", explains Frank Schnabel, CEO of the SCHRAMM Ports & Logistics Sweden AB.
This means that user-friendliness was of utmost importance for the internet presence in the redesign of the homepage. Embedded in a Scandinavian looking design, the navigation is slender and clear. In addition to location facts on the three port terminals at the east coast of Sweden, the website also provides information about the comprehensive services on land and on water as well as current and expected ship arrivals. The internet presence provides a press and download area, as well as information about the company and career opportunities.
SSHAB runs three ports in the Söderhamn region on the east coast of central Sweden. It has signed a long-term operator contract with the municipality of Söderhamn, the ports’ owner, to operate the terminals. The ports of Örrskär, Stugsund and Langrör are set up as multi-purpose ports, primarily handling wood and timber products, cement, oil, chemical products and various other cargo. SSHAB is also a logistics service provider at three port facilities owned by industrial companies, where it renders port services, such as transhipment, handling and ship loading/unloading, on behalf of the respective companies.
In addition to land-based port services, the Swedish company also offers waterside services. SSHAB owns and runs two tugboats which are used to assist with towing during ship manoeuvres, and which also act as icebreakers during the winter months, ensuring access ways to the ports remain clear.
