General Cargo / Heavy lift / Project cargo

General cargo

The heavy lift pier at the port of Glückstadt makes it the ideal place for handling heavy lift and project cargo. So far already towing winches and huge components for industrial facilities with unit weights of up to 160 tons were handled in the port – but also the handling of heavy weight cargo with higher unit weights may be operated by Glückstadt Port GmbH & Co. KG. All ways of transport such as sea vessel, barge and truck are served with equal efficiency.
Due to its spacious storage area at the pier within outreach of the crane, the port of Glückstadt is predestined for handling general cargo such as i.e chalk in big bags, cellulose but also containers.
